Webb 115kV Solar Interconnection
WILDWOOD SOLAR, LLC, Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. (MISO) and Entergy Mississippi, LLC (EML) entered into a Generator Interconnection Agreement (GIA) associated with project J908.
By definition, Wildwood Solar, LLC is known as the “INTERCONNECTION CUSTOMER”, MISO is known as the “TRANSMISSION PROVIDER” and EML is known as the “TRANSMISSION OWNER”.
The GIA states that the IC intends to own lease and/or control and operate a new generating facility (100MW) in Mississippi known as project J908 and desires to connect the generating facility to the EML / Transmission Owner transmission system, with the Point of Interconnection (POI) specifically within EML’s existing Webb 115kV substation.
As a result, EML / Transmission Owner is required to construct certain interconnection facilities and network upgrades as per the GIA.
The costs associated with the EML / Transmission Owner obligation are reimbursable under the pre-payment agreement established in the GIA.
The specific obligations of the IC as well as the Point of Change of Ownership (PCO) are further detailed in the GIA.
Wildwood Solar, LLC was established by NextEra Energy, In interconnection.
